When you place an order with SoftwareCity.ca you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. All item availability and prices are subject to change at any time, without notice. After your order confirmation email, you will receive periodic e-mails from us regarding the processing of your order. Within 24 hours of your order being shipped, you will receive an e-mail that contains the carrier tracking number for your order.

SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right to limit quantities, and to decline the acceptance of any order for any reason. SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item. All orders placed will be thoroughly researched before shipping, in accordance with the policies set by our Fraud Avoidance and Customer Protection Departments. SoftwareCity.ca may require additional information and/or verification before accepting and processing any order.

Prior to shipment or delivery of any order, SoftwareCity.ca may cancel, reject, correct, or terminate any order for products, services, or insurance for which the price was incorrectly displayed or where we otherwise displayed erroneous, incomplete, or inaccurate information.

SoftwareCity.ca may cancel, reject, correct or terminate at any stage of the order processing, including after an order has been submitted and confirmed, and your credit card has been charged. In the event your order is cancelled by SoftwareCity.ca after your credit card has already been charged, SoftwareCity.ca will immediately issue a credit to your payment card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank or credit union policies will determine when this amount is credited to your account.

SoftwareCity.ca is not obligated to complete any sell any of the products based on errors, misprints, or omissions on our website.

SoftwareCity.ca may at any time, with no prior notice or liability to any website user (a) correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission; (b) change the products and services available on the website, or the prices, fees, description, and specifications of such products, services, and insurance; (c) limit quantities, promotional or otherwise, available for sale.

You may request a cancellation of your order by calling a CSR Customer Service Representative. Once an order has been processed you cannot cancel your order, but you may return items in accordance with our returns policy, and may be subject to a restocking fee. If your credit card has already been charged, you will receive a credit back to your account usually within 2 to 3 business days.

For product we do not have in stock, we can support direct shipments from the manufacture to our customers and reseller partners. With backordered items, we will hold a pre-authorization on your card. Your card will NOT be charged until the product ships.

At SoftwareCity.ca, we make every effort to provide you with current inventory status and product availability information. Any order submitted through this website, if in stock, will ship once the necessary order verifications have been completed and cannot be cancelled once the order has shipped. If a product is out of stock, the item(s) will be placed on backorder and shipped to you when available. A backorder may be cancelled at any time prior to shipping. On orders with backordered items, the total shipping charges are included with the first shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. In the rare occasion that a backordered product becomes end of life or is no longer available SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right to cancel the order.

SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right to cancel an order or to issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for product that is advertised in error that does not conform to advertised specifications, or was shipped in error.

SoftwareCity.ca’s goal is to provide current and accurate information on our website. However, errors, misprints, and omissions sometimes occur. These include but are not limited to incorrect or incomplete prices, descriptions, specifications, photographs or illustrations. SoftwareCity.ca makes no warranty that the content of the website is 100% accurate or complete.

SoftwareCity.ca makes it a priority to ensure that all listed product descriptions provided by the manufacturer and suppliers are correct. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, SoftwareCity.ca shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price without prior notification, regardless as to whether or not the order has been confirmed and/or your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged and the order is canceled, SoftwareCity.ca shall issue a credit to the credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

We make every effort to bring the lowest prices possible to our clients however, due to conditions beyond our control; prices are subject to increase even after your order has been placed. If a price increase should occur during the processing of your order you will be notified and have the right to cancel your order at no charge to yourself.

Should a descriptive error be discovered once the item (or items) is received please contact our Customer Service Department to advise. If it is determined that a descriptive error exists we will arrange for the return of the item at no cost and credit the amount of the item in full.

Before returning any item, it is necessary to contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns will be accepted without a RMA number. We accept no responsibility for products returned without an RMA number.

All Memory (RAM) is non-returnable & non-cancellable. Software may be returned for replacement only. Software cannot be returned for credit.

Non-Defective Product:

There are NO returns for opened non-defective product. This follows all manufacturer policies and therefore no exceptions can be made.

All non-defective, unopened returns are subject to a 20%, $ 40.00 minimum, restocking fee, whichever is greater.

Defective Product:

Within 15 days from date of purchase if a product is determined to be defective SoftwareCity.ca will issue an RMA and if applicable, replacement product following manufacturer policies and guidelines. Return instructions will be provided and it is the responsibility of the client to return the products in a timely manner to the warehouse location provided.

All returns are subject to the conditions outlined in the RMA Notification email. Failure to comply with the conditions will result in the refusal of the return at the customer's expense. Shipping charges are extra, and the responsibility of the client.

In some instances the manufacturer may request that the return/replacement/ repair is to be taken care of with them directly, at which time we will provide that instruction. In some cases, to help facilitate a return, we may instruct the client to contact the manufacturer directly to obtain a case number that confirms the item is defective. Items found to be non-defective, will be returned to the client at their expense.

Credits may take up to 10 business days to be processed after receipt of the returned merchandise. A credit will not begin processing until we have received the returned product.

After 15 days from purchase date all product is covered by the manufacturer warranty policies.

Refurbished Product:

All refurbished products are marked on our website as Refurbished – Final Sale. No returns will be accepted on refurbished products.

All returns and replacements must be handled directly through the manufacturer any time after the first 15 days of invoice. Manufacturer’s warranties vary on each product. Extended warranties are available directly from select manufacturers. Manufacturer information is subject to change without notice. Please contact the manufacturer to obtain warranty information.

Your order will not ship until after it has been verified and processed by our Order Processing Department. Every effort is made to process orders within 24 hours, but this doesn’t guarantee that your order will be shipped out the same day. SoftwareCity.ca does not guarantee next day delivery. Shipping speed is outside our control and is dependent on the courier company.

Please keep in mind that our distribution centers do not process or ship orders on weekends and/or holidays.

Shipping charges start at $8.69 for standard freight (ground). Shipments over and above the standard weight/dimensions or to remote areas are subject to additional pricing.

SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right to review shipping. If additional shipping charges should apply a SoftwareCity.ca representative will contact you to outline those charges. The customer has the right to cancel the order if not in agreement with additional shipping charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Sorry, SoftwareCity.ca does not offer pick up locations. All orders must be shipped

All shipments from our Canadian warehouses are by UPS, Purolator or heavy freight couriers. Shipments from our International warehouses are by specialized couriers.

An additional charge of $75.00 will be charged to your credit card for any shipment that is refused or undeliverable due to no fault of SoftwareCity.ca or the courier. SoftwareCity.ca reserves the right to review shipping.

SoftwareCity.ca accepts North American Visa and MasterCard only! We are unable to process international credit cards or Visa Debit cards. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make a purchase. To ensure speedy processing of your order please be sure to provide the exact billing address and telephone number as recorded with your credit card issuing company.

We can only ship to an alternate address if the address is on file with your credit card issuing company. Incorrect information will cause a delay in the processing of your order.

SoftwareCity.ca cannot take responsibility for any rebates or promotions missed due to method of payment being declined as this is outside of our control.

Your credit card will be charged as each item is shipped. Charge backs from credit card issuing institutions are subject to the above policies.

Before opening any product please ensure that you have confirmed compatibility and that you have ordered the correct product. Softwarecity.ca cannot accept returns for non-defective, opened products.
